Pole Flow is the fun side of pole exercise. Each week, your instructor will have a song and a move or combo as a focal point to add into your freestyle dance. The class finishes with a complete run through your newly developed routine to the music. It's up to you to add your individual flare and maximize your fun. Pole Fitness classes focus on developing strength and conditioning while learning the multitude of elemental pole moves. All classes begin with a thorough warm up, followed by a strengthening and toning session. Next, our specialized and certified fitness trainers will guide you through your class with personalized attention and instruction. You will leave feeling accomplished and excited to come back and do it all over again! As you progress, you will be able to move up in class levels.
The use of pole for sports and exercise has been traced back at least 800 years to the traditional Indian sport of mallakhamb, which utilizes principles of endurance and strength using a wooden pole. Though the poles have changed, the fitness elements have not. Pole exercise increases core and general body strength by using the body itself as resistance, while toning the body as a whole. If you want to build muscle, get lean, or just have more fun in your workouts, ground yourself in pole.
